A joyful and heartfelt celebration of song, the concert features Windborne’s lush vocals and unique arrangements that bring light to a dark time, as they draw on midwinter music from traditional, classical, and folk from the US, British Isles and beyond.
Unique from their typical show, the holiday spirit is accentuated with added instrumentation, from concertinas, guitars, and flute, to Lithuanian Kanklės, Irish bodhran, and Georgian Panduri. With Windborne as your guide across continents and centuries, you will be delighted by holiday stories, songs, and humor in a livestream concert for the whole family! Tips for Watching on Mandolin:
Once you have bought a ticket, set up your own Mandolin account using your name and email address. This makes it really easy to log in before the show, using that same email address, and your show will be available. All you have to do at that point is click in the show and it will start at the appointed time. We encourage you to set up your computer or portable device with your home stereo speakers for the best quality sound.
