Festival Cabin Information

Golden Link Folk Singing Society is fortunate to hold our festival at this terrific facility with a long history of hosting differently-abled youngsters for a residential summer camp experience. Therefore, it is wheelchair accessible — from paved paths and no steps, to modern bathroom facilities.

If rough-camping isn't your style, but you'd like to stay on the grounds to partake of all the festival has to offer, you might want to consider taking advantage of the bunkhouse style accommodations available on the grounds for a modest fee.
There are two cabins, one for men and one for women.  Each cabin has beds on either side, separated by a bathroom accessible to both sides and a small young in the front of the building. Users will be assigned to a cabin, and may select their bed, first come, first served, when they arrive. GLFSS is not responsible for your personal belongings and cabins will not be locked at anytime. Bring sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, linens, etc. as you would for camping. All bathrooms provide hot water, hand soap and showers. Cabins are heated as needed.

These are not luxury accommodations, and there is a certain absence of privacy as everything is shared space, except for toilets of course.

Cabins are ideal for those wishing to stay at the festival site all weekend but prefer an indoor sleeping arrangement as opposed to dealing with all that’s needed to set up a camping area in the open field. Be aware that the beds in the cabins are bare mattresses.  You'll need to bring your own sleeping bag, or linens and pillow.
