October 8 - Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers and Friends "Dead to the Core" Concert & Workshop!
A Grateful Dead concert with a twist!  This group of musicians celebrates the Grateful Dead's music not through note-for-note recreations, but by playing the songs their own way, and by interspersing clips of interviews with Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir.  A truly unique experience! Click Here for Concert Tickets and Details.  Take the experience to the next level by joining us for a pre-concert workshop to learn Grateful Dead riffs and embellishments. Registration is separate for the workshop so Click Here for Workshop Registration and Info.
Nov. 1st and 15th - Get Ready for Prime Time, 2-Session Workshop!
We know that sometimes it can be intimidating to perform in front of others, even at a casual event like a sing around.  And it can be tricky to play along with others, picking up on the right chords, or getting in sync with the flow of lyrics.  Let Bill Thomas help get you singing and playing in a supportive, caring, small-group environment.  For details and to register, Click Here.
November 19 - Lynne Hanson in Concert!
She's been described as too tough for folk and too blues-influenced for country.  "Canada's Queen of Americana" is hard to pigeon-hole, but her wide variety of musical styles and deep bluesy croon is sure to delight our Golden Link audience.  Click Here for details, a sample video, and to purchase tickets.
November 29 - Potpourri Jam Concert!
At this unique Golden Link event, musicians sign up to form a group that's selected at random, and put together a few songs for a short set at the concert.  It's fun and a great way to meet and learn from other musicians!  Check out the Event Page, or go to our Potpourri Sign Up Page to learn more and throw your hat in the ring!
Check out our new Volunteering system!
Keeping folk music alive and healthy takes the efforts of lots of volunteers.  You can now easily join this effort through our new Volunteer System, which lets you look at the various things that need to be done, and the times when they're needed.  You can sign up for just the right thing to match your interest and availability.  We're currently looking for help at the Turtle Hill Folk Festival among other opportunities.  Take a look by clicking on the Volunteer Button at left, or in the Golden Link Menu on mobile devices.
