Golden Link holds food drive with Greece Baptist Church

At the request of Garnet Rogers, who performs at Golden Link on Saturday, May 16, Golden Link will be teaming up with the Greece Baptist Church to collect items for the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf.

Garnet asked us to coordinate with the local food bank or shelter and encourage audience members to bring non-perishable donations of food and items of personal care to help the less fortunate in the community.

The food drive will run from May 2-18, so you can bring items to both concerts in May (Kray Van Kirk on May 2 and Garnet Rogers on May 16).

You can also bring food donations to the singarounds on May 5 and 12.

Items that are particularly needed right now include:

·cake, cookie, and muffin mixes

·salad dressings

·ketchup and mayo

·jelly

·crackers

·mashed potato flakes

·flavored noodle mixes

·size 6 diapers

Please get regular sizes (not large) for non-perishable items and make sure they aren’t expired. Thanks for helping us to give back to the community!
