Start the New Year by resolving to learn a new way to play guitar. Multi-instrumentalist Bill Destler, longtime folk singer-songwriter, will teach two-finger guitar picking, an essential technique made famous by the Rev. Gary Davis and Elizabeth Cotten. No special knowledge is required other than a few guitar chords, and this technique can be used on banjo and ukulele as well.
This workshop is limited to 12 participants so be sure to register (online only) by Sunday, January 8th at midnight. For questions, contact our Education Coordinator.
